WATT DATA PRIVACY POLICY

1. WATT DATA AND OUR APPROACH TO PRIVACY
Watt Data, Inc., and our affiliates ("Watt Data," "we," "us," or "our"), are committed to safeguarding data and protecting privacy.
Watt Data provides a data intelligence platform that enables businesses to access consumer and business identity data, intent signals, and behavioral insights through our API, MCP server, and related tools (the "Watt Data Services"). Our customers use the Watt Data Services to power AI-driven sales, marketing, and customer intelligence applications. Our customers' use of the Watt Data Services is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy.
This Privacy Notice applies to personal information:
- Of individuals who visit our websites (wattdata.ai, app.wattdata.ai, or any other website of ours that links to this Privacy Notice) (our "Site(s)");
- Of individuals who use the Watt Data Services, either as an individual user or as a representative of an organization ("Users"); and
- Of individuals whose information is contained in our databases and made available through the Watt Data Services ("Database Individuals").
This Privacy Notice does not apply to personal information contained in customer lists that our customers upload to the Watt Data Services solely for the purpose of receiving enriched or analyzed data in return. We process such information on behalf of our customers, who remain the controllers of that data. We do not incorporate personal information from customer-uploaded lists into our databases.
Watt Data determines the purposes and means of processing personal information as described in this Privacy Notice and therefore acts as a data owner or a "business" (as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act) of personal information in this context.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM SITE VISITORS AND USERS, AND HOW WE USE IT
We collect personal information directly from you when you visit our Sites or use the Watt Data Services. This includes information you provide when you set up an account, submit queries through our API or MCP server, or correspond with us via customer support tools, by email, or otherwise.

3. INFORMATION WE COLLECT AUTOMATICALLY AND HOW WE USE IT
We collect limited personal information automatically when you visit our Sites or use the Watt Data Services. We use this information primarily to provide you with the Watt Data Services, to ensure security, and to monitor and improve our Sites.

We use cookies and similar technologies on our Sites for essential functionality and basic analytics.
4. INFORMATION ABOUT DATABASE INDIVIDUALS
Watt Data maintains databases containing information about consumers and businesses. This section describes the information we hold about Database Individuals and how we use it.
Categories of information. Our databases may include the following categories of information about Database Individuals:
- Identifiers. Such as name, email address, phone number, postal address, and online identifiers.
- Professional and employment information. Such as employer, job title, job function, work history, and professional affiliations.
- Firmographic data. Such as company name, industry, company size, revenue, location, technology stack, and funding history.
- Intent and behavioral signals. Such as indicators of purchase intent, website visits, content engagement, technology adoption signals, hiring patterns, and other behavioral signals that suggest business interests or activities.
- Demographic information. Such as general location, inferred interests, and other demographic attributes.
- Commercial information. Such as purchasing tendencies and transaction-related signals.
Sources of information. We obtain information about Database Individuals from:
- Publicly available sources, including business registrations, professional networking sites, company websites, news articles, press releases, and public filings;
- Data partners and vendors who aggregate and license data from various sources; and
- Inferences we draw from the data we collect, including through the use of machine learning and artificial intelligence.
We do not incorporate personal information from customer-uploaded lists into our databases. When customers upload lists for analysis or enrichment, we process that data solely to provide the requested service and return results to the customer.
How we use this information. We use information about Database Individuals to:
- Provide the Watt Data Services to our customers, including powering semantic searches, customer analysis, audience generation, and data enrichment;
- Maintain, update, and improve the accuracy and completeness of our databases;
- Develop new products and services; and
- Comply with legal obligations.
5. HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR INFORMATION
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it, including for our legitimate business interests and to satisfy any legal or reporting requirements.
To determine the appropriate retention period for personal information, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your personal information, the purposes for which we process your personal information, and the applicable legal requirements.
For Database Individuals, we retain information as long as we believe it remains accurate and useful for the purposes described in this Privacy Notice, subject to your rights to request deletion as described below. When a Database Individual exercises their right to opt out or request deletion, we maintain a suppression record to prevent re-acquisition of their information from our data sources.
6. DISCLOSURES OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may disclose your personal information to the following categories of third parties:
Our customers. We disclose information about Database Individuals to our customers through the Watt Data Services. Our customers use this information for their own business purposes, such as sales prospecting, marketing, customer intelligence, and AI-powered applications, subject to our Acceptable Use Policy.
Service providers. We may disclose your personal information with third-party vendors and service providers that perform services for us or on our behalf, including: cloud hosting and infrastructure; security and fraud prevention; professional services such as legal and accounting services; billing services; and analytics services.
Other companies within the Watt Data group. We may disclose your personal information within the Watt Data group of companies as reasonably necessary for our day-to-day business operations.
Third parties in the context of a corporate transaction. We may disclose your personal information to third parties in connection with a transaction, such as a merger, sale of assets or shares, reorganization, financing, change of control, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business. Such a transaction might involve disclosing personal information to prospective or actual purchasers, sellers, and their advisers.
Law enforcement, regulators, and other parties for legal reasons. We may disclose your personal information to comply with legal obligations, to protect our rights, or in response to a court order or legal process. We may also disclose your personal information as necessary to enforce terms of a contract, to protect the rights, property, or safety of Watt Data, its users, or any other person, and to prevent fraud and abuse of the Watt Data Services.
7. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS
Data Broker Status. Watt Data is a data broker as defined under California Civil Code Section 1798.99.80. We are registered with the California Privacy Protection Agency. You may learn more about data broker registration at https://cppa.ca.gov/data_broker_registry/.
Categories of personal information collected. In accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, within the last 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information:
- Identifiers (e.g., name, email address, phone number, postal address, IP address, or other similar identifiers);
- Those listed in the California Customer Records statute (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80(e)) (e.g., name, address, telephone number, employment, employment history);
- Characteristics of protected classifications under California or federal law (e.g., gender, age range);
- Commercial information (e.g., purchasing tendencies, transaction-related signals);
- Internet or other similar network activity (e.g., browsing history, search history, information regarding interaction with websites or applications);
- Geolocation data (e.g., general location derived from an IP address);
- Professional or employment-related information (e.g., employer, job title, work history); and
- Inferences drawn from the preceding categories of personal information to create a profile reflecting preferences, characteristics, behavior, or attitudes.
We obtain these categories of personal information from the sources described in the "Information about Database Individuals" section of this Privacy Notice.
Sale and sharing of personal information. Watt Data sells and shares personal information (as those terms are defined under the CCPA) to our customers in connection with the Watt Data Services. The categories of personal information we sell or share include: identifiers, California Customer Records categories, commercial information, internet or network activity, geolocation data, professional or employment-related information, and inferences.
Sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined under the CCPA, except for account log-in credentials of our Users, which we use only for the purpose of providing the Watt Data Services.
Retention of personal information. We retain personal information as described in the "How long we retain your information" section of this Privacy Notice.
Your rights under the CCPA. If you are a California resident, you have the following rights:
- Right to know and access. You may request information about and access to the personal information we have collected about you, including the categories of personal information, the sources from which it was collected, the business or commercial purposes for collection, sale, or sharing, the categories of third parties to whom we have disclosed it, and the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Right to deletion. You may request deletion of your personal information. When you submit a deletion request, we will delete your personal information from our records and direct our service providers and contractors to delete your personal information. We will also notify customers who have received your information through the Watt Data Services of your deletion request, to the extent required by law.
- Right to correction. You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing. You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. To exercise this right:

- If your browser supports Global Privacy Control (GPC), we will treat a GPC signal as a valid opt-out request for that browser
- Right to non-discrimination. You have the right to receive non-discriminatory treatment when you exercise your privacy rights.
Submitting requests. To exercise your rights to know, access, delete, or correct, please contact us at legal@wattdata.ai. We will verify your identity before fulfilling your request by matching information you provide against information we maintain about you.
Authorized agents. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf by providing written authorization. We may require you to verify your identity directly with us and confirm that you authorized the agent to act on your behalf.
Response timing. We will respond to verifiable consumer requests within 45 days. If we require more time, we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.
8. DATA BROKER REGISTRATIONS
Watt Data is registered as a data broker in the following jurisdictions:
California. Watt Data is registered as a data broker with the California Privacy Protection Agency pursuant to California Civil Code Section 1798.99.80 et seq. California residents may request deletion of their personal information through the methods described in the California Residents section above or through any universal deletion mechanism established by the California Privacy Protection Agency.
Vermont. Watt Data is registered as a data broker with the Vermont Secretary of State pursuant to 9 V.S.A. § 2430. Vermont residents may opt out of the sale of their personal information by contacting us at legal@wattdata.ai. Watt Data maintains a comprehensive information security program that includes administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the security, confidentiality, and integrity of personal information.
Texas. Watt Data is registered as a data broker with the Texas Secretary of State pursuant to Texas Business and Commerce Code Chapter 509. Texas residents may request deletion of their personal information by contacting us at legal@wattdata.ai.
Oregon. Watt Data is registered as a data broker with the Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services pursuant to ORS 646A.880. Oregon residents may opt out of the sale of their personal information or request deletion by contacting us at legal@wattdata.ai.
9. RESIDENTS OF OTHER U.S. STATES
Depending on the state in which you reside, you may have the following rights in relation to the personal information we hold about you:
- Right to access. You may have the right to confirm whether we are processing your personal information and to obtain a copy of that information.
- Right to correction. You may have the right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to deletion. You may have the right to request deletion of your personal information.
- Right to opt out of sale. You may have the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information.
- Right to opt out of targeted advertising. You may have the right to opt out of processing of your personal information for purposes of targeted advertising.
- Right to opt out of profiling. You may have the right to opt out of profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
- Right to data portability. You may have the right to obtain a copy of your personal information in a portable format.

- Right to non-discrimination. You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights.

10. CONTROL OVER YOUR INFORMATION
Do Not Track. While your browser may send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal, DNT standards have not been established and we do not currently respond to DNT signals. For more control over tracking, consider enabling Global Privacy Control (GPC) if your browser supports it.
Global Privacy Control. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals from browsers that support it. When we detect a GPC signal, we will treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information associated with that browser. For more information about GPC, visit www.globalprivacycontrol.org.
Marketing preferences. Occasionally, we may contact you with information about our products and services. You can stop receiving promotional email communications from us by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our marketing emails. You may not opt out of service-related communications (e.g., account verification, transactional communications, changes or updates to features of the Watt Data Services, technical and security notices).
11. SECURING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, abuse, loss, and other disruption. These measures include administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the security, confidentiality, and integrity of personal information. We regularly review our security measures and adapt them to current standards.
12. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
The personal information we collect may be transferred to and stored in countries outside of the jurisdiction you are in, including the United States, where we and our third-party service providers have operations.
13. LINKS TO THIRD-PARTY SITES
The Watt Data Services and Sites may contain links to and from third-party websites. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy notices and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for their notices. Please check the individual notices before you submit any information to those websites.
14. INFORMATION ABOUT CHILDREN
The Watt Data Services and our Sites are not directed at persons under 16. We do not knowingly or intentionally collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 16, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under 16, please contact us using the details set out in the "Contact Us" section below.
15. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY NOTICE
We may change this Privacy Notice if the Watt Data Services or our Sites evolve, or if relevant laws or their application change. We will post new versions of this Privacy Notice on our Sites and identify the date they take effect. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Watt Data Services or by other means.
